Cotton candy clouds
Cotton Candy Clouds is the first work in my new series, Beneath the Summer Sky. The painting measures 70 x 100 cm and is set in a fine frame made of solid oak.
The work was inspired by the summer evening sky – when the light slowly softens and the sky is bathed in gentle pink, pale yellow, and warm pastel hues. The abstract color fields are reminiscent of dissolving cloud formations, drifting weightlessly through the warm air like cotton candy. The glow of neon pink adds fleeting accents, like the last rays of sunlight breaking off the edges of the clouds.
"Cotton Candy Clouds" captures the feeling of an endless summer evening: those quiet, floating moments between day and night, imbued with lightness, warmth, and nostalgia. The delicate transparency of the colors invites contemplation and opens a space for personal memories of balmy nights and summer weightlessness.
