The Ocean series is inspired by the vastness and depth of the sea. A key element is the contrast of emotions: on the one hand, the calming effect of gazing across the open ocean and feeling the gentle water on your skin; on the other, the powerful dynamism of the waves and the awe-inspiring might of the ocean. The series comprises five works and was part of the 1000FreundGallery exhibition and Cologne night of museums.
